Love is all that matters says a song writer Love is all that matter in summer and winter Love, they say and we affirm somehow is all that matters, But after all is said and done -does it really matter? Found love for a moment and we rejoice Nurture it with caution or freeze like ice Cuddling, knitting, making-out and making up Love not locked-down hence infested with break up Love or lost, concentrated, consecrated or over-rated Love rising its flint flapping wings to overcome hatred Love worth giving from a life worth living From lack giving all with a heart all forgiving Hated yet expected to love with a gentle heart like a dove Bleeding with hurts from love gone wrong-we look above Scars hunting us we can only clinched our fist tight Thinking about our loss –we’re ready to pick up a fight Loving with all does not love with tongue To such many is the Romeo of different tong Love worth living is worth giving to the top Love worth given up is love with fraud and flo

MOTHERHOOD: Guts or Womb?

It’s every sane woman’s dream As they bring joy flowing like a stream Tossed into the air and caught with caring grip Despite the stress for each of us she cares to strip. The rare commitment she as always shown Epitome of her motherhood nature we’ve always known. What defines a mother? A puzzle to solve A question that to some need no resolve A child is a seed of the WOMB no doubt But is that what motherhood is all about? The pressure of nine months is no doubt tough The measure of what comes after- surely rough The comfort of the womb all received with joy But the GUTs of a mother many didn’t enjoy A story the homeless and motherless can tell As the daring guts of their mother they never felt In these guts we find our first vending machine In this same rare gut we see our first linchpin Always there to sacrifice even at gunpoint A decision many with balls can’t confront It takes guts to stay up through sleepless night Motherhood for her child keeps up the figh
