WHEN THERE IS HOPE THERE IS LIFE-part 2

When there is life there is hope they say Hence with emphasis on life and staying alive we pray When there is life they say there is hope-we’re told So with some impudence and revulsion our life unfold Our life saddled with pain and grieves we wait Without rays of optimism we freight and resign to fate Regardless of our bleakness we just hang on afloat Till all fortitude is gone-we are left on shore without a boat Life compared to hope is not anchored to life in itself We try hard but remain disgruntled with so much grief Because we have nothing to live for-suicide considered Suicide is attempted for some but for others-life’s deferred I dare to say; with emphasis- when there is HOPE there is life Not when there is life but rather it is hope that gives reasons to strife What is Life without HOPE? But there is hope even after life! What you hope for you live for-Hope keeps us alive. Irrespective of seemingly ill-fated situation we can only hope Hope makes not ashame

MOTHERNATURE GROANS IN PAIN

The earth groans in awesome pain Her children losing all their gain The heat of a scorching sun she receives The tildes of its rushing water-tears striking hard like diseases We do not heed but she groans with pain Noisome pestilence interlude her calm silence Mother- nature tries to brawl back with strong rĂ©sistance Her vengeance come and we are taken aback With Tsunami, earthquakes, eruptions and flood she attacks She is left with no other choice while she groans with pain. To her many question we give no answer But to her various rebuke we run and scamper Most times- of her, we have many different thoughts Like a child chastised looks up to his mother and hurt We forget that to our good only but she groans in pain The gulf between two extremes we can’t explain Love and care mixed with hate and rage- we complain She shelters us like a mother wraps her warmth around a child Yet in a twinkle of time she pounce on same like a lion in the wil

TWO SIDEs OF A COIN-

Tossed high above in the air with projectile force Flipping and spinning in the air in rhythmic mode Uncertainty in the mind of the awaiting and gazing eyes Plagued with equal plausibility and possibility Yet the tension is most often than not high With only either of two possible outcome nigh Head or tail- true or false-right or wrong. Without any choice an outcome will be reached. Attempt otherwise will be some sort of colossal failure The depths of this thoughts brings pain and gain- Tonnes of Salt poured to enrich an ocean- futility Ice wrapped and packaged to be sold to an Eskimo- implausibility Attempt to convert the pope from Catholicism – audacity Work and wages molted into a coin-inseparable The issue isn’t the outcome but in whose favour. We may not win always but in our loss we grow strong It may be victory today but defeat isn’t avoided yet. We rise to the zenith but a slip can make it go away Like two side of a coin so is victory and defeat on the same pa

CAN THE LION BE GREATER THAN THE JUNGLE?

Our thought most time reflects the crust of our cerebral imagination Sometimes mine reflects what I desire, my crossness and indignation. The proverbial lion is the king of the jungle says the African folklore Sitting under the shed of a huge tree we can only take sketch-tour. Our then diminutive mind filled with the image of a lion walking elegantly in the jungle With this aesthetic picture we tangle and wangle all night in rhythmic, re-current mingle The lion- the king and the Jungle is all our minds imagines until this thought expires But what happened when swiftly the hitherto peaceful jungle is on fire. Even the majestic Lion, un-characteristically will be on the run Not because he is weak but maybe because he lives to fight another turn. Can the lion be greater than the Jungle? A group of lions covered by a large colored ‘umbrella’ Walk tall in a jungle mixed with different species in an area. The Lions and their umbrella now covers and harbors danger The crust of t
