Straight into the heart it pierces Coated with devastating venom Shattering hopes and faith into pieces Leaving humongous hole and a vacuum The limit of wailing has been exceeded Thought of redemption far not quite near Present situation exasperating and compounded Hope set ablaze in split second here and there Heart-quaking- Fist clinched Thoughts distorted-eyes dimed Furious with emotional thirst unquenched What kind of twinge is this –I queried ‘Keep faith...’ says the Preacher-man I have heard this sermonette often than required Yet this pills of pain I can no longer swallow like a man Is this fate...' Is all I can muster and enquired?
