THE HORROR OF TERROR

-
The human face with a reflection of a beast
Clean shave with Beastial make up
Weakling feet and arms rotting mean feat
Resident evil guised in boisterous evil face up
Un-humanly unleashing his terror

Our humanity is now very much bereaved
Our chances at redemption no longer conceived
A troubled killer man on rampage- serial killer
A diabolical killer one on carnage- ritual killer
Obstreperously showing his horror

The human life is now treated with levity
Our life is choked of its essence and serenity
Life we cannot give is taken with un-fazed ease
All for selfish undefined reason without cease
Personifies the rot in the depth of this terror.

For our peace they gave us unsolicited terror
For our dreams they exchanged with horror
When will all these nightmare and evil end?
How do we negotiate this treacherous bend?
What do we have to give to end this horror?

Can we resort to mosaic law and disposition
Terror for terror, hoping it takes us out of this position?
They have unhumanaly shown us their horror of terror
Peace we failed to bring to them earlier, now they bring us terror
But they forgot our honour of humanity out lives their horror of terror

(Dedicated to the memories of those who lost their lives or loved ones to any act of terrorism)

    Inspired by series of horror and terror pictures coupled with news on all forms of media... I had to rise from doldrum of nonchalancy and do some literay stuff putting pen to paper...   The power of imagination and the power of believe are like Siamese twin, once you have the ability to imagine the result you desire, your belief in what you imagined will bring home the result. A CHAPTER FROM MY LIFE STORY

Named Seth because I was a gift after the loss of a child. The 5th Child of 6 siblings raised by a Military man with discipline of the highest 'quality'.  Mum was a house wife into small.scale trading. Dad a devoted christian, deacon & who gave little or no liberty. My first real liberty was choosing to go to University of Ilorin instead of University of Ibadan so as to be away from home and refusing to start over at OAU to read law (which we both wanted before) but I was already in 2nd year in University of Ilorin. He wasn't going to pay my school fees any more because I disappointed him with that decisional not to go start over  and get the chance to be a Lawyer. Economically were weren't the poorest but not rich either. We got basic needs but sometimes we had to wait and pray for the source of the next meal.
