WHAT OR WHO GOD IS!

As I settle down to ponder on some thoughts, unanswered prayers and uncompleted plans, I stumbled on this illumination while I listened to T.D Jakes. There is a very important need to know and establish the difference between what God can do and Who He is...because what He can do is subject to whether he would (choice) do it!

But Who God is, has to do with His nature! Irrespective of other prevalent circumstances- He just does it! Because that is just who his and its a natural expression to do or enact the DNA character of Who He is! He is Jehovah Jireh- He does not act giving or providing he just provides because he is a provider! Jehova rapha... Healer He is, Healing He does! Jehovah Elohim, He does not just appear to make sufficiency, He is all Sufficient at any rate or level. Jehovah Nissi, Sikenu etc

Hence, its important to Know God for Who He is & not just for what He can do, so when he chooses not to do it (what you know he can do) YET, You don't loose yourself and your faith. Yes You know He can do it, but forgot that He can also choose not to do it at that point, place or time. Can he do it? Yes! Will He do it? Most likely! Why didn't He do it then? He is God not Man!

"Remember all things works together for good..."

Know God for Who He is not Just what He can do!

  The power of imagination and the power of believe are like Siamese twin, once you have the ability to imagine the result you desire, your belief in what you imagined will bring home the result. The question you need to answer at every point what do I believe in. Like Henry said, "if you think yo can, you can, if you think you can't, you are also right". You are only as able as what you believe. You don't go into a battle expecting to lose because if that is what your believe is, you don't need to bother, it is a done deal, the battle is in deed lost! Once you have sorted out what you believe (which is half way the journey, however an important half), the next then is you then channel your effort to what you believe in. A CHAPTER FROM MY LIFE STORY

Named Seth because I was a gift after the loss of a child. The 5th Child of 6 siblings raised by a Military man with discipline of the highest 'quality'.  Mum was a house wife into small.scale trading. Dad a devoted christian, deacon & who gave little or no liberty. My first real liberty was choosing to go to University of Ilorin instead of University of Ibadan so as to be away from home and refusing to start over at OAU to read law (which we both wanted before) but I was already in 2nd year in University of Ilorin. He wasn't going to pay my school fees any more because I disappointed him with that decisional not to go start over  and get the chance to be a Lawyer. Economically were weren't the poorest but not rich either. We got basic needs but sometimes we had to wait and pray for the source of the next meal.
