The Rollercoaster track

Life appears to all with different faces
Sometimes with a smile or with a frown
We go through it in different phases
We yo-yo bounce up and down like a clown
She embraces us all, irrespective of our races
We call it ebony or black, sometimes White or brown
A few strive to attain- while others stir their gazes
Trying to make a meaning of life in a whole town
We sometimes fall but we can't resign to despair
Irrespective of our challenges we try to climb high
‘Coz If we don't- down we glide without hope of repair
With hope, faith and grace we look up to the Most high.
With our clinched fist we fight
Looking at issues we freight
With lost courage we take flight
With determination we get insight
With passion we get out of sight
In this life's darkness we look for light
Travails eclipse out shred of sunlight
We hang on to God to hear our plight
Hoping that someday heaven will shine the light
