Recently, I was inspired to write on the above subject by the synopsis from the sermon by Rev. Yomi Kasali. He was sharing from what he subjects-The Days of Elijah. With this , coupled with some of my own deep thoughts I came to a conclusion that ‘God now runs’ one of the most psychedelic, improved and well packaged chain supermarket, better still a business franchise with all kinds of stocks, stuff, services and goods on parade for any customer who cares to buy in… maybe I borrow the cliché KEY-IN. The likes of PARK ‘N’ SHOP, SHOPRITE, and NAPEX etc are being giving a run for their money. A competitor they are lest aware of, no thanks to the chameleonic or camouflaged nature of this new multi-faceted and spherical competitor.
Strange as this may sound, yet it bugs the mind to know it is true and the franchise is being run by some of the best and gifted Orator cum Marketer to have graced the 21st century business platform. Dressed in well designed designer suits with nice ties and accessories to match and armed with insights from the scriptures…scriptures? Surprised? Yes scriptures! Infact, that leads us to the core of the business process. As against acquiring degrees from some of the Best Business Schools as you would have expected of a Business Guru, these men are heavily armed with ‘scriptural details’ and registers with which their customer… ouch! I meant members or Clients who often time because of their itchy ears are being beguiled into buying into the franchise as against buying in to the kingdom.
The most amazing thing here is that GOD OWNS A CHAIN SUPERMARKET HE IS NOT THE ONE THAT RUNS OR ACTUALLY OWNS, BUT RATHER HIS NAME IS BEING ATTACHED TO THE BUSINESS DEALS FOR SELFISH GAINS. The most unheard of things are being heard o today in the church. MAMON! Actually owns this franchise and disguise with the name of the LORD. This franchise is all over the world, irrespective of the race or location. The children of darkness or better put MAMON now parades themselves as the children of Light –GOD. Aided by the pulpit they are undeserved of, they run their business from the sacred height of God’s pulpit.
Everything is being paid for. Miracles, grace, forgiveness, anointing, prayer and fasting (third party fasting) and anointing oil even Holy Communion etc. You can now have communion shipped to your doorstep with an amount. You need to fast and pray? Do not worry this franchise pray and fast for people with a price tag. You want breakthrough? Not to worry with a weighty amount, sow and go to bed… SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN, even if it doesn’t happen, don’t worry it will happen just keep sowing.
Please…God is not MOCKED! Honorariums are now being negotiated. Gospel Song Ministers… sorry! I meant Artist or better yet Gospel Entertainers are now negotiating their appearance fee. They (Artist and preachers) now select where to perform based on the size of the congregation or do I say audience. I asked myself, what happened to FREELY HAVE YOU RECEIVED AND FREELY YOU SHALL GIVE. Please note that giving and receiving of honorarium isn’t the issue at all, as it isn’t bad but NEGOTIATION is where the ills lie. YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE THRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE. My people perish because they lack knowledge by inference my people excel because they have knowledge.
Where there are good people there are bad people. This implies that as much as we have businessmen running the business franchise in God’s name –calling it church for selfish interest, so also we have true Labourers in God’s vineyard (not franchise) working day and night for the Kingdom. The end is near… CAN THE REAL MEN OF GOD PLEASE STAND-UP!
