ODE TO A BOY WHO STRUGGLED.

(Dedicated to Oluwagbenga Williams Dada (1980-2007- R.I.P)
Born with a terminal clause
He choose to grow up with a plus
He had to struggle with fate
But rose up to live by faith

Every day for him comes with its pains
Every moment had to be made a gain
Lived life struggling against odds to achieve
Blazed through life with little or no mischief

Even though he came through slow
He left an impeccable impression that glows
A clause he carried like a cross
A plus he impressed on hearts across

Why then did you have to leave?
Why didn’t you try more to live?
The boys you left like me are now men
Like you, they are Xtra-ordinary Gentlemen.
